Having worked in NTT DATA for nearly three decades, Zamma knows the IT industry of Japan inside out, and firmly believes that open innovation will revitalize his company and the industry.

As the head of Open Innovation and Business Incubation, he directs biannual contests and monthly forums to find and introduce promising startups to business units and customers of NTT DATA, and runs programs that put the partner startups on the fast track to proof-of-concept and new business.

Ajit is currently closely nurturing two startups SmartCommute (Uber for employee transport) and DeepTek (Health Care AI). Previously he co-founded Vertex Software - which had strategic equity partnership with Mitsui & Co. Ltd. - Japan and exited to NTTDATA - Japan.

Thomas Joined National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) in 2015 and was part of the Unified Payments Team right from its inception , successful launch of UPI and BHIM and is actively involved in critical enhancements across UPI /BHIM/Bharat QR.

Has rich experience both in the Banking , Capital Markets and the Payments Industry. Started his career as an Officer with Bank of Baroda Cards (BoBcards Ltd) , one of the pioneers in the Credit Card industry in India and have worked in different levels and across various teams. Subsequently was associated with Stock Holding Corporation of India Limited (SHCIL), one of the largest custodian and the leading Depository participant in the country. Has worked at various levels and in different roles in SHCIL and was in charge as an Area Manager when the State of Puducherry launched e-stamping in the State.

Has done his PGDBM from Institute of Management Technology, Ghaziabad and Diploma in Business Finance from ICWAI ,Hyderabad and has also completed his CAIIB from Indian Institute of Banking Federation. Has also done various certification programs on the Stock Markets from NSE’s certification program. Has completed the Intermediate Level in Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICWAI) and is presently pursuing the Finals.

Yoshiaki Wada joined the Bank of Japan in 1982, and had worked for Statistics and Economic Research Department, IT System Department, Secretariat for Policy Board, Financial System and Bank Supervision Department. In 2010, he joined NTT DATA Corporation, and currently works for the development of new financial technologies including XBRL, XML, J-SON and related solutions in the Digital Strategy Section of Financial Segment. He was a member of the Board of Directors of XBRL International, and currently is the Chair for the XBRL Asia Round Table.
